Joseph M. Hargraves was born in San Diego, CA in 1915 and married Marza Alice Murphy in 1939. He worked at the San Diego Convair North Plant, Bldg.3 from 1942 to 1945. Using a slide rule, he built jigs and fixtures for B-24 wing center sections. He was due for induction on June 26, 1945, the day that his son was born, but he was not called.
