Keith D Vonnahme was born July 3rd, 1963 in Carroll, Iowa to Mary and Wayne Vonnahme. He graduated from Schuyler R-1 High School in Kirksville, Missouri in 1981 and went on to attend Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa where he graduated in 1983. His first job was with Digital Equipment Corporation in Bloomington, Minnesota, where he met his wife, Nancy Vonnahme. Keith and Nancy have two children, Brianna and Derek.
Keith has always had a passion for space and flight, which he instilled in his children at a very young age. His constant pursuit for lifelong learning has inspired a spirit of exploration in his children that has led to their success in secondary education and in their adult lives. His constant support has allowed them to explore the many facets of academia and find their place in the world, for which they are eternally grateful. Thank you Dad, for always showing us the amazing things that the universe can yield and for reminding us to keep looking up.
