CITATION TO ACCOMPANY THE AWARD OF
THE AIR FORCE COMMENDATION MEDAL TO KELSEY R. TYSON
Staff Sergeant Kelsey R. Tyson distinguished himself by meritorious service as Radar Operations Crew Chief while assigned to the 776 Radar Squadron, Point Arena Air Force Station, Point Arena, California from 1 November 1968 to 23 May 1970. During this period, Staff Sergeant Tyson's outstanding professional skill, knowledge and initiative have aided immeasurably in identifying problem areas in the Radar Operations section and in developing and implementing plans to solve these problems. The distinctive accomplishments of Sergeant Tyson reflect credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
