Ken Barnett has been flying over 60 years starting in Aeronca C-3's and has been a general aviation pilot all this time gradually acquiring virtually all the ratings including instructor certificates. He is still an active pilot at 83.

He was a Major and Chaplain in the U.S. Army and was a Lt. Col. For the balance in the reserves, until retirement.
