I have long dreamt of becoming a pilot ever since I was a child. This dream was fulfilled when I began flight training in late 1997 and subsequently received my Private Pilot's license in June 1998. I am presently working for a major avionics company, Rockwell Collins, here in Iowa, as a software engineer producing prototypes for the next generation of aircraft flight deck displays. The National Air and Space Museum holds a fond place in my heart. I never miss an opportunity to visit whenever I am in Washington, DC.
