L. ANDY OLMAN, Lieutenant Colonel, was born 4 September 1931 in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from the American Technological University in Killeen, Texas. Entering the Aviation Cadet Training Program in April 1952, he received his pilot's wings and commission at Laredo AFB, Texas in July 1953. After flying F-86s with the 4530 CCTW at Williams AFB, Arizona he continued his career in F-100, F-105 and F-111 aircraft serving with the 72/510, 522, 80, 35, 36 and 429th TFS with tours at 5/12 AF and PACAF HQ.
Decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross, nine Air Medals and many other Campaigns, Theater, and Unit Citations.
He is married to the former Dolores "Rusty" Pyrzynski and they have two children (Karen and Mark) and one grandchild (Lauren).
