    Lowell Emery Pearson was born in Des Moines, IA in 1937. He graduated from East High School and enlisted in the U S Navy; serving in the Atlantic Fleet out of Norfolk, VA for 3 years. Married in 1960 - they just celebrated their 45th anniversary with their two children and three grandchildren. Lowell worked in the Polk County Treasurer's office over 35 years in Des Moines. Lowell has had a life long interest and love for aviation. He is a member of the Kansas City Airline History Museum and he has flown in their Lockheed Super G Constellation (Connie) to air shows in the Midwest. He has flown in many airliners over the years and has enjoyed a flight in a hot air balloon over Indianola, IA. Besides having a wonderful family, Lowell has many interests and passions; at the top of his list is closely following the development of aviation progress and space exploration.
