    Lieutenant Colonel Craig J. Walker is Commander of the 14 Weapons Squadron, United States Air Force Weapons School, Hurlburt Field, Florida. Colonel Walker entered the US Air Force in 1990 as a graduate of the ROTC program at the University of Miami. He has served as instructor pilot, flight examiner, weapons officer, squadron operations officer, squadron commander and was the executive officer to the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs. He completed a Master of Aerospace Science from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 1999, a Master of Military Arts and Sciences from Air University in 2004, and a Master of Operational Art from Marine Corps University in 2005. He is a senior pilot logging over 3,000 hours in AC-130H, C-130E, T-37 and T-38 aircraft. Colonel Walker and has flown combat and contingency missions in Africa, Turkey, South Korea, Bosnia during Operations PROVIDE PROMISE and DENY FLIGHT, Saudi Arabia during Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, and Afghanistan during Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, where he was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses and four Air Medals. Colonel Walker was born at Bitburg AFB, Germany and is married to the former Melissa Gurner of Washington DC and has one son, Zachary.
