    I graduated from Williams Field with the class of 44F. Flew transition training in P39s at Victorville, Calif.
    Day Fighter training was taken at Santa Rosa USSAF in Calif.
    Shipped overseas as the War was ending, to the Alaskan Aleutian Theater of War, where I served with the 54th and 11th Fighter Squadrons on Attu and Shemya Islands. The only thing we had to fight was the weather.
