    Born August 8, 1928 New York City. Raised Massapequa Park, Long Island During Junior Year at Amityville High School worked after school/weekends at Fitzmaurice Airport and learned how to fly in a J3 Cub. July 7, 1947 enlisted in U.S. Army Air Corp. Basic enlisted training at Lackland AFB, Texas. Transferred to Keesler AFB, Mississippi for Aircraft & Engine Tech Training followed by Aircraft Instrument Tech School, at Chanute AFB, IL. Graduated from all courses by December 1948. January 1949 I applied for Aviation Cadet Pilot Training and was assigned to Perrin AFB,TX June 21,1949 for Basic Flight Training in the T-6 Texan. January 1,1950 began Advanced Flight Training (Jet) at Williams AFB, AZ flying the T-6 & the F-80A and T-33. Graduated June 23, 1950. Assigned to 94th FIS (Hat-in-the-Ring Squadron), GEORGE AFB, CA. July 1951 transferred to 67th Tac Recon Wing, 15th Tac Recon Sqdn, Kimpo, South Korea. Flew 101 Combat Missions in RF-80A. Flew first RF-86A camera test. Flew F-86F from 1955 to 1960.

    Completed 20 years active duty August 1,1967. 1963 to retirement I was Commanding Officer 3525th Organizational Maintenance Squadron, Williams AFB, AZ September 1967 to August 1986 worked for Frontier Airlines as Flight Operations Instructor Type Rated by FAA in CV-580 (Turboprop) & B-737 (Turbojet) as well as B-727 Flight Engineer. October 1987 took position at United Parcel Service Flight Division as Manager Flight Crew Ground Training. From January 1992 to September 1995 assigned to UPS Flight Test Dept as B-727 Flight Test Flight Engineer for the conversion P&W JT8D engines to Rolls Royce TAY engines. Retired from UPS September 1, 1995.
