Major Looney began his Air Force career as a pilot in the Vietnam War and continued to serve his country by training hundreds of pilots over the course of his career. He has greater than 13691 hours in the cockpit, including 7563 hours as an Instructor pilot and 9588 hours as Pilot in Command.
