    Honored by:

    Raymond J. Holt enlisted in the USAF in 1949. An interest in aviation
    blossomed into a love of all things aeronautical during service as a C-47
    Crew Chief. USAF pilot training followed, aircraft flown includes: T-28, T-33, F-84, F-100C and F-104C. Ray served with distinction in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. In 1965 Ray Holt began an airline career with American Airlines where he retired as Captain in 1992. Aircraft flown includes: 707, 727, 757, 767 and the DC-10. Ray passed down his love of aviation to his two sons who currently serve as major U.S. airline pilots.
