Max Arnold Durham
1929 - 2003
Was a native of Kannapolis, NC. He served in the U.S. Army on Japan following WWII. He gave up his private pilot's license early on but never lost his enthusiasm for aircraft. He was particularly knowledgeable about military aircraft from all eras.
He loved visiting aviation museums and attending air shows.
Max loved his country and his family. He was a true patriot and friend.
