    COL (Ret) Michael Lustig served 23 years in the U.S. Army in Aviation Branch. As an Intelligence Aviator, he flew fixed-wing reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft in support of MI brigades and field commanders. He served three tours in Korea, a tour in Sinop, Turkey and one tour in Germany as the Battalion Commander of the 2nd MI Bn. COL Lustig was awarded two Air Medals and a Bronze Star for his valor during Desert Storm. As a Colonel, he helped develop new systems to be used by surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft. Flying in defense of his country was the greatest joy of his life.
