Space and the Apollo Program has always fascinated me when I was a kid started my interest in science. As an adult I took flying lessons and became a private pilot. I’ve lived near the Kennedy Space Center for several years, and have seen many launches, beginning with the Challenger disaster in 1986. Space flight and general aviation will always be important to me.
