Andrew has always been interested in science and aviation. He has encouraged his children in their interest in science, taught them to respect technology and helped them understand how both function in society. Even as a child, he was fascinated by aviation and early space flight. This interest was passed on to his children through visits to the Kennedy Space Flight Center in Florida and the frequent trips to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Together, they explored the many intricacies of the various spacecrafts and learned about the men who built and flew them. The Udvar Hazy Center has added a new, exciting way to discover the wonders of flight and he looks forward to its growth over time.
