Between 1994 and 2003 Mr. Pauling was responsible for development and support of U.S. Navy aircraft engines and propulsion systems. He served as teh technical director and head of hte Propulsion and Power Engineering Department at the Naval Air Systems Command. During Dave's tenure significant naval aviation milestones such as the V-2 Tilt Rotator Aircraft, the Joint Strike Fighter, the F-18 Super Hornet and numerous programs to improve the performance and safety of naval aircraft were brought to fruition. He is noted for his passion for aviation and concern for naval aviators and maintainers.
