'Chuck" served with the Marines in WWII. His unit was VMF (N) 534 Squadron (Guam), flying F6F-3E, Radar equipped Hellcat. 1946, Solo J-3 Cub Private Pilot. Korean War VMT 533 Squadron F7F Tigercat and finally qualifying commercial instrument Seaplane.
