    Mr. Cahill was born in London, England in 1939. He spent his childhood in Ireland and Canada before immigrating to the United States in 1948. He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957.

    He received his Bachelor's Degree in Physics from LeMoyne University and in 1965 joined the Central Intelligence Agency. During his distinguished career with the CIA he worked as a System Integration Manager and Systems Engineer. He was the recipient of several awards including the Exceptional Performance Award and the Intelligence Commendation Medal. He retired from the federal government in 1995, and died in 1999.

    Mr. Cahill enjoyed visiting the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. and certainly would have visited the new facility when it opened. He loved to fly and traveled to many parts of the globe on business and pleasure. His wife and three children are privileged to have his name on the Wall of Honor.
