Enlisted in Army Air Corps in 1944. Stationed at Perrin Field, Sherman,, TX, waiting for Pre-Flt when World War II ended. Earned private pilot’s license on GI Bill in 1948. Built (with two others) Raus Coyote 6-ES light plane in 1994. Flew it and others until 1998. Always and Aviation Booster, attends EAA Osh Kosh every year.
