SUMMARY OF MILITARY EXPERIENCE:

1943-1964 USAF Cadet. Pilot. Senior Pilot. Command Pilot. Test Pilot. Licensed Commercial Pilot. Instrument Rated Ballistic Missile and Space Systems Engineer. Qualified in twenty-three aircraft, including helicopter, single engine liaison propeller and fighter, multi-engine cargo and bomber, multi-engine turbo-prop and multi-engine jet aircraft. Served in foreign assignments in Okinawa, Japan, England, France, Germany, North Africa and South America. Research and Development Officer, Ballistic Missile and Space Systems Norton AFB, CA - Responsible for the management of the Unsolicited Proposal program which provided industry- with competent technical evaluation of disclosures, inventions and proposals of scientific or technological work in engineering principals relating to ballistic missiles and space systems. Worked on Ajax, Titan, Minuteman Space Shuttle, Moon Landing and Flyby of planets. Retired with 20 years honorable service.

Survival School and Experiences:

Parachute, Water, Jungle, Desert, Arctic Survival AF Survival Schools. Crashed three times-P-47, F-80, F-86; Bailed out three times - P-47, A-26, C-119.
