    Ms. Nina Davis Jasmann

Born 4-12-28. Died 1-5-00. Devoted wife of Franklin T Hogans, Sr.. Mother of seven children; Vaughn, Frank Jr., Donna, Dennis, Bill, Matt, and Meg. Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In 1947 Sue learned to fly at a small grass airstrip in Rock Hall, MD. The plane was a Piper Cub. Her instructor was Captain Eddie Buchheidt, an ex WWII bomber pilot. She soloed and got her license. She loved to fly so much, but with her ever growing family, all she could do was look up at the blue sky and say a quiet wish. She was an avid traveler and loved to fly on commercial airplanes and managed to see much of the world. Her husband loved her very much and just enjoyed being around her. When she was happy he was happy. I know that she would be pleased that I was placing her name on the Wall of Honor.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
