    b. July 12, 1922 in Livonia, NY, graduate of Newark (NY) High School 1940, drafted for World War II on November 13, 1942. He flew without injury 35 operational combat missions on B-17 in 8th Air Force, 92 Bomb Group 327th squadron from Podington, Bedfordshire, England, June 8 to October 15, 1944. He earned rank of First Lieutenant, was honorably discharged from service on October 15, 1945, with reentry from March to October 1948. He worked on the New York Central Railroad and retired in 1983 as postmaster at Phelps, NY. He is a Founding Member of the American Air Museum in Britain. He has one son, one daughter, 3 step children.
