    Born on December14,1917 and died March 1, 2000. First flew in a Curtis Jenny for a dollar in 1923 at 5 years of age. Graduated Chapman Tech, New London, Connecticut. Attended New London Aviation.
    1939 worked for Hamilton Standard Propeller. Took flight training at Westone Airport, Mystic, CT flight instructor Roy Bach.
    1943-1945, US Army Air Corps; flight training Stearman BT 13 (Vultee Valiant), AT-6, AT-10, AT-20, AT-26, P-47, B-25. Discharged rank of Captain. 1949-1951, US Army National Guard.
    1952-1955: painter/welder at Electric Boat Division, General Dynamics Corp., Groton, CT. Worked on submarines Trigger, Trout, Harder, and Nautilus.
    1957-1971, machinist at Aerojet General Corp., Sacramento, CA. Worked on Minuteman, Polaris, NASA Nerva/Rover, and Apollo Service Propulsion System.
