    Colonel Peter A. Kacerguis saw combat in the Republic of Viet Nam as a United States Army Helicopter Pilot and served in Desert Storm. He retired in 1992 after 26 years of Active Duty. He was checked out in the OH-23; OH-13; UH-l A/B/C/D/H; AH-IG; OH-58A; T-41; Cessna 150/172/180. His awards include the Silver Star, the Legion of Merit, the Distinguished Flying Cross (2 OLC), the Bronze Star (3 OLC), the Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), the Air Medal w/32 OLC, the Air Medal w/"V" device, Senior Army Aviator Wings, and Senior Parachute Wings. He logged 882 combat hours flying helicopters in Viet Nam. He is a member of the Distinguished Flying Cross Society.
