Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC) along with various other medals. Returned on one engine many times, crashed landed at home base due to aircraft damaged by enemy fire.
Corporate pilot 1946-1982 21,000 accident-free hours 5,000,000+ miles flown. Died November 18, 2000.
