    Captain Robert Alpheus Freeman, United Air Lines, served in the Air Transport Command from February 1944 until August 1945. He completed 44 missions Active Services from U.S. to designated areas of the Pacific during World War II. He also served during the Korean conflict from 1951-1953.
    Captain Freeman was awarded: World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Air Medal, Honorable Service Lapel Button, and Honorable Discharge Certificate from the United States Air Force. He flew international and domestic flight for United Air Lines until 1971.
