    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Valarie A. Arseneau

In the early 1950's my father, Robert A. Arseneau (Jan. 10, 1930) of Bourbonnais, Illinois followed in his Uncle Roy Arseneau's footsteps & started taking flying lessons. His instructor was Mr. Delbert Koerner of Kankakee, Illinois, who test flew all of the airplanes used in WWI. The Wright Brothers taught Delbert to fly & signed his license. My father is extremely proud of the fact that Delbert was his instructor & signed his license. My father is a gold medal storyteller. I never grow weary of hearing him recount the time that he landed his Piper Cub at O'Hare International Airport. Due to ill health my father has not flown in years but his passion for flying certainly has not dimmed.
