    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. John R. Talmadge

From the beginning of his aviation career in rural north Louisiana, through the jungles of Viet Nam and on to his position as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Principal Operations Inspector for the largest airline in the world, Robert E. "Bob" Talmadge has been a champion of aviation. His love for flying and dedication to his craft lead him to become a highly decorated Army Aviator (call sign "Aunt Jill") in the UH-1H and propelled his career through the private sector and into his position of responsibility with the Federal Aviation Administration. Perhaps Robert's greatest contribution to aviation has been his ability to inspire greatness in others by his example.
