Acquired pilot's license in 1939. Attended Spartan School of Aeronautics in Oklahoma in 1942. Worked for Lockheed Overseas Corporation in Europe in 1943. Was in U.S. Army Air Force in 1944-46 (20th Air Force on Guam). Lifetime member of 20th Air Force Association. At one time held a patent on a new type of airplane control. I am a founding member of the American Air Museum in Britain. At one time was part owner of a Taylorcraft Tail Dragger Airplane. Was a member of Silver Wings Fraternity. Was a member of OX5 Aviation Pioneers and Historians. Was a member of the Confederate Air Force. Was a member of U.S. Air Force Association.
