Learned to fly at the age of 19 in Metropolis, Illinois.
Enlisted into the U.S. Navy in 1944.
Returned in 1945 and began crop dusting and charter work at the Metropolis airport.
Moved to Marion, Illinois in 1957 and co-founded Aeroflite, Inc., an aircraft charter and
flight instruction as a fixed-base operator (FBO) at the Williamson Co. Airport.
Retired in 2000.

Cherokee, Tomahawk, Arrow, Warrior, Apache, Aztec, Seneca, Navajo, and
Cheyenne.

Various other single and multiengine aircraft.
Total Time: In excess of 31,000 hours.
Certificates held: ATP Multi Engine, Commercial Single Engine, CFII, CE500.
Served as a Designated Flight Examiner for over 30 years.
Two Children: One professional pilot with 15,000 hours corporate flight time.
