Honored by:

Navigator/Bombardier/Radio Operator; joined the crew of the B-29 bomber Lady be Good with the 20th Air force flying out of Tinian on missions to Japan. Participated in the flyover of the battleship “Missouri” on Sept. 2, 1945 during the signing of the formal surrender of Japan & the close of the Second World War.
