    Flew airplanes privately for about 20 years over most of the USA. Owned 4 planes -- first one was Curtiss Robin in 1941.

    Born 29 May 1921, died 20 January 2002.

    Spent three years in Army -- fall 1942 to fall 1945. Spent one year in Europe in World War II (WWII) as private in Medical Corps, 660th Clearing Co. -- was surgical technician. Refused to accept a rating. Has experience in Nazi concentration camp near Regan, Germany. Believe it was Mauthausen, when war was almost over in Europe.
