Launched first two successful AGM-72 missiles, earned 8AF blue ribbon award. Held eight ranks in eight years. Selected as SAC Manager of the Year. Won Mendel Rivers Award. Distinguished Graduate of Air War College and graduate of Industrial College of Armed Forces with honors.
    Served 10 sea tours, flew 2725 combat tours. Released over 17 million pounds of bombs and counterfeit money, flew last combat sortie in Laos and first top secret mission into Cambodia. Lead Linebacker II Wave from Guam. Selected by Life Magazine for center page story of Vietnam bombing operations.
    Received three Distinguished Flying Crosses, 18 Air Medals and over 40 medals and awards.
