    Born 3-29-1935 in Stuttgart, Germany. Immigrated to the USA in September 1955. US Air Force from 1957 to 1961.
    Attended Northrop Institute of Technology from 1961 to 1964 with BSEE. Attended California State College from 1964 to 1967. Received MSEE. Worked at Northrop Corporation from 1965 to 1990. Key Project/Tasks were:
    • Flight Controls Lead on M2-F2 Lifting Body for first flight preparation at NASA Edwards (Dryden Flight Test Center), including support of initial flight test program. (1965 to 1967)
    • Flight Controls Lead on HL-10 Lifting Body for first flight preparation at NASA Edwards (Dryden Flight Test Center), including support of initial flight test program. (1966 to 1968)
    • Key Program Engineer on X-14B upgrade to install model following digital flight control system for Handling Qualities Research at NASA Ames. (1968 to 1972)
    • Key Control System Engineer for YF-17 Fighter Prototype design and flight test support. (1972 to 1977)
    • Key Control System Engineer supporting initial A/F-18 control system design. (1977 to 1978)
    • Manager and Chief Designer of the Research Fly by Wire Vehicle Management System for the Northrop Tacit Blue Stealth Aircraft. (1978 to 1982)
    • Part of DARPA Support Team for Sikorsky X-Wing Program, as Team Leader for the Northrop Control System Support team. (1982 to 1986)
    • Manager and Chief Designer of the Fly by Wire Vehicle Management System for the Northrop YF-23 Advanced Technology Fighter. (1986 to 1990)
    • Key Control System Engineer supporting the Kistler Space Launch System as part of the Irvin Parachute Recovery System. (1992 to 1994)
    • Key Control System Engineer supporting the Ryan Aeronautical System Division in the design of the Global Hawk UAV Autonomous Integrated Mission Management System. (1995 to 2001)
    • Still active on several Technology Development activities.
