Stanley L. Wiggins entered the Air Force on May 9th, 1952 as an airman 3rd class. Because of his high scores he was permitted to go to Officers Training School where he again excelled and in spite of not having the minimum 2 years of college, got jets. He was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant on May 12th 1954; he married Norma Louise Kramer on July 4th, 1954. In 1957 he was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and completed 2 years of college credit by exam. On January 1, 1960 he was promoted to Captain. He made Major on December 20th, 1966 and retired from the Air Force March 31, 1973.
