"If you love what you do, your job will never feel like work."

Stephen retired in November, 2015 from a distinguished career spanning five decades in aerospace engineering. He began his career in 1967 as an electrical engineer with GE Reentry Systems in Philadelphia, PA and stayed through many mergers and divestitures, including GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin, and Vencore. He worked on many groundbreaking programs in manned spaceflight, advanced satellite imagery, and satellite command and control. Always an advocate for higher education, Stephen holds three degrees: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, Master of Science in Engineering in Systems Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Pennsylvania, and Master of Business Administration from Widener University. He shares his interest in space with his daughter, Clare, and inspired her to pursue a career in engineering. He lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife, Kendra.
