Stephen P. Ziomek is President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thunderbird Field II Veterans Memorial, Inc., www.tbird2.org, a 501 (C) 3 non-profit dedicated to commemorating the rich history of the Scottsdale Airport which was built in 1942 for the sole purpose of training U.S. Army Air Corp pilots; honoring all veterans; providing scholarships to college students enrolled in an aviation curriculum; and supporting Dogs4Vets, a non-profit dedicated to helping veterans live a more productive life with the use of service dogs.

Mr. Ziomek is a former Commissioner and Chairman of the Scottsdale Airport Advisory Commission and Commissioner in the Scottsdale Veterans Commission; Scottsdale business owner; Major and Command Pilot in the U.S. Civil Air Patrol; U.S. Coast Guard Academy graduate (1972) and former fixed wing and rotary wing Coast Guard Rescue Pilot.

Mr. Ziomek is the recipient of the Air Medal, Coast Guard Commendation Medal, Coast Guard Unit Commendation Medal, Commandant's Letter of Commendation and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
