    Thomas Custis Parramore was born in Hertford County, North Carolina on December 19,1932. Died Wake County, North Carolina on January 13, 2004. Education: AB, AM, Ph.D. (1965), University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Served in the U. S. Army, 1955-1957, Reserves, 1957-1958. Meredith College, Raleigh, NC History Professor Emeritus.
    Member of the North Carolina First Flight Centennial Commission, 1994-1998, advisor 1998-2003.
