T/Sgt. Jack Rundell died in Nov 1945 as a crew member of a Consolidated B-24J-CO sn 42-73064. He was a member of the 9th Bomb Squadron, 7th Bomb Group of the 10th Air Force based in India.
Since the crash occurred after WWII was over it was probably some sort of a supply mission. Losing his life whether it was combat or support mission is reason enough to merit his name on the Wall of Honor at the National Air and Space Museum
