    Honored by:

Tucker E. Axum III discovered his love of flying in high school when his friend, Jared Guillory (1981-2013), introduced him to Microsoft's Flight Simulator computer game. After completing private pilot ground school with the Naval Sea Cadet Corps at Belle Chase Naval Air Station in New Orleans, Tucker began flying lessons while attending the University of Louisiana, home of the Ragin' Cajuns!

Tucker earned his pilot's license on America's Independence Day in 2001. A lifelong learner, he broadened his flying experience by getting his tailwheel and high-performance endorsements; multi-engine and seaplane license. In December of 2013, following an extended overseas assignment in Europe and Africa on behalf of the US Government, Tucker purchased a Cessna Cardinal.

Tucker is a proud lifetime member of the Aircraft Owner's and Pilot's Association (AOPA), and feels thankful to live in a country that truly embraces the freedom of general aviation. Tucker delights in sharing the wonder of flight with others, and his flying adventures have been published in AOPA, Plane and Pilot, General Aviation News, and other media outlets.
