    Retired after 40 years in the field of Aerospace Liquid Propellant Propulsion System Engineering at Rocketdyne Propulsion & Power, originally a division of North American Aviation, later Rockwell International, and now the Boeing Company.
    Originally an Iowa farm boy, spent four years in the Air Force with service in Korea, and subsequently graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    After joining Rocketdyne in 1958, participated in all major engine programs including those for early Atlas and Thor Ballistic Missiles, Project Mercury, Saturn V / Apollo, Space Shuttle, Delta IV and X-33.
    Retired as the Director of Rocketdyne Field Engineering & Logistics and continues to be active in propulsion support to Rocketdyne, and as a Rocketdyne Liquid Propellant Rocket Engine Historian.
