Bill Basham graduated from the United States Army Warrant Officer Rotary Wing Aviation Course, Class 69-15, and b3ecame a pilot of the “World’s First Attack Helicopter”, the Bell Huey Cobra AH-1G. Bill was a “Cobra” pilot in the Republic of South Vietnam Feb. 1970 – Feb 1971. Received the distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Valor for his actions in Vietnam.
