About the Event

Explore the engineering and design innovations that have taken place during the last century of flight. Talk with pilots of vintage and modern aircraft, on display outside the Museum for one day only. This year’s event will not include indoor programming. Visitors are welcome to explore the inside of the Museum on their own. Free tickets are required to access the outdoor aviation area.

A free screening of Into Flight Once More will take place at 10 am in the Airbus IMAX Theatre. This film brings the history of June 6, 1944, to the present through the lens of one squadron and their recreation journey to Normandy for the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Free tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis beginning at 9:30 am. Visitors intending to watch the film should arrive no later than 9:50 am.

Inclement Weather Policy

If there is inclement weather, it may not be possible for the aircraft to reach the Museum, in which case the event will be cancelled. Depending on weather forecast, the event could be cancelled as late as Saturday morning. We will email ticket holders and update this webpage on Saturday morning by 7:30 am with the status of the event.

The event will proceed as planned.
