Join the Museum, Trust for the National Mall, and local astronomy groups for an evening of stargazing at the Eisenhower Memorial in Washington, DC. 

A variety of telescopes will be available for the public to use, with knowledgeable people on hand to answer questions. There will also be hands-on activities for all ages.

 

This program is presented by the Trust for the National Mall to celebrate President Dwight D. Eisenhower proposing the creation of NASA.

  • Accessibility: The programming area is accessible step-free via the public sidewalk. Written and touchable explanatory materials are available for learners of all types.
