Object Details
Type ART-Miscellaneous Medium Box, Ceramic Physical Description Ceramic box with hinged lid, for jewelry or other small items. Lid and lip of base edged in silver. Hinge also made of silver. Lid is hand painted with a scene of a balloon and gondola in the sky with two people in the gondola. "1783" is painted under the gondola. The sides and interior of the box are decorated with a fern motif. Dimensions Overall: 10.5 × 5.4 × 9.2cm (4 1/8 × 2 1/8 × 3 5/8 in.)
