As part of our celebration of the 50th anniversary of first Moon landing, we invite you to a discussion of spacesuits past and future. Our panel of spacesuit experts will take a look at everything from Apollo-era spacesuits to Hollywood recreations.

Bill Ayrey, the recently retired archivist, curator, and Senior Test Engineer from ILC Dover will discuss the legacy of the Apollo spacesuits. Ryan Nagata will talk about his experiences re-creating some of the vintage suits used in the movie First Man. Nik Moiseev will give interesting perspectives on spacesuits in light of his career as a Russian spacesuit engineer and an American spacesuit entrepreneur. And Dava Newman will talk about the next generation of responsive materials for spacesuits to make these form-fitting spacecrafts truly a perfect fit for exploration.
