Join space history curator Margaret Weitekamp as she discusses two different type of Star Wars artifacts: toys and merchandise sold when the film was released, like action figures and lunch boxes, and commemorative pieces, like the R2-D2 mailbox on display in the James S. McDonnell Space Hangar, which celebrated the 30th anniversary of the film.

The phone booth shaped like a Mercury spacecraft came from the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The mailbox is an official U.S. Postal Service collection box dressed as R2-D2 from Star Wars to celebrate the movie's 30th anniversary in 2007.
