Some tools used by astronauts during spacewalks look like something you could pick up at your local hardware store. Many more are specially engineered to accomplish tasks in the unique environment of space. From checklists and tethers to cameras and power drills, astronauts need an army of mechanical help to work outside the spacecraft. Tool designers, tool users, and tool curators will be on hand in this presentation to look at the past, present, and future of EVA (extra-vehicular activity) tools.
