Horten Ho 229 V3 On Steel Stand

Museum staff fabricated a steel stand to support and protect the center-section of the aircraft during a trip from the Paul E. Garber Facility in Suitland, MD, to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia. A protective cover was attached to the stand to completely enclose the artifact before shipment.
